Before Purchase

  • Confirm dimensions, mounting holes, rough-in, inlet/outlet location, thread type, adapters, water pressure, temperature range, electrical requirements, product certification, and local code compliance.
  • Confirm the package contents. Shut-off valves, drain pipes, adapters, sealant, tools, and installation services may not be included.
  • For commercial or high-frequency use, confirm the product is rated for that environment.

Installation Safety

  • Turn off the water or power as applicable. Flush new or renovated pipes before connecting cartridges, filters, valves, or aerators.
  • Use a qualified professional for concealed plumbing, waterproofing, electrical work, water heaters, complex drilling, structural work, or when local law requires licensing.
  • Follow hot-left/cold-right orientation unless product instructions state otherwise. Use sealant only where the joint design requires it; washer-sealed joints should not be overwrapped. Do not overtighten.
  • Test all connections under operating pressure and inspect for leaks before enclosing walls or leaving the installation unattended. Observe curing times for silicone, sealant, grout, and waterproofing materials.

Use and Care

  • Use a soft damp cloth and mild pH-neutral cleaner, then rinse and dry. Do not use steel wool, abrasive powder, strong acids or alkalis, chlorine bleach, concentrated alcohol, or sharp tools unless product instructions expressly allow them.
  • Inspect hoses, washers, and joints periodically. Replace any hose showing swelling, corrosion, cracking, or leakage. Protect the system against freezing and drain it before long periods of non-use where appropriate.
  • If a product leaks, becomes unusually hot, shows electrical fault, or appears unsafe, stop use, isolate the water or power where safe, and contact a qualified professional and FYASSI support.

No Drinking-Water Assurance Unless Stated

Do not assume a product is certified for drinking-water contact or a particular jurisdiction unless the product page and documentation expressly identify the applicable certification. After new plumbing work, flush the system. If unusual odor, color, or particles persist, stop using the water for drinking and have the supply inspected.

Internal Publication Checklist – Remove Before Publishing

  • Replace every bracketed field and search the final files for “[” and “]”.
  • Confirm the legal seller name appears consistently in footer, checkout, invoices, privacy notice, and terms.
  • Inventory actual cookies and vendors; configure consent and privacy-choice links.
  • Confirm whether advertising activities may constitute sale/sharing or targeted advertising under applicable U.S. laws.
  • Choose DDP or DAP/customs wording and match the checkout experience.
  • Set realistic processing, delivery, damage-reporting, return, inspection, refund, support, and warranty periods.
  • Map warranty periods and exclusions to every product category and product page.
  • Confirm EU/EEA/UK consumer flows, statutory withdrawal form/process, refund timing, and mandatory legal guarantees if selling there.
  • Confirm governing law and dispute wording with counsel; do not add arbitration language without jurisdiction-specific review.
  • Translate or localize policies where required, preserve version history, and record user acceptance where appropriate.
  • Ensure product pages state certification, pressure, temperature, connection, included parts, intended use, and installation requirements.
  • Have privacy, consumer, product-safety, tax/customs, and e-commerce counsel review the configured version for each sales market.
